I posted a week or so ago that I was looking for a comparable side table to a costly one by caracole. I found this table on onekingslane for $199, pretty good match I think and compared to around $1,000 for the caracole I think I can live with it lol.

I did! I did! Here's the original one. I do like it better, but what the heck!

I still like the caracole better though Frown when I look at the pic. Oh well, can't have it all!

Personally, I prefer the less expensive find. It's more simplistic in design. Is it comparable in size? Hope you're thrilled with the design and especially the savings. Enjoy!

I still think you could add legs on this one and make it look even more like the original.

Great table though and it does mimic the original.

I also like the inexpensive version. Looks like the main differences are the legs and the thicker glass on the $1,000 table.

You could probably have a thicker piece of glass cut.

I prefer the Caracole version and can see why it's pricey; the overall design and workmanship are fabulous.

OTOH, the less expensive version is a lovely facsimile.

This is a great example of high-low decor.

Nice tables! You might feel better about the one you bought if you realize that the legs on the expensive table would be very hard on any flooring other than stone.
