It will be clear to you that I am not the picture taker in the house with this crazy question: I want to enlarge a few pictures and frame them. With today's digital cameras, do I just request black and white when I am printing photos? Can I accomplish this in my local CVS or should I go to a camera shop like Ritz? (In the old days, you would just purchase black and white film). All help will be appreciated.

The photo editing software on your computer, like Picasa (free download, and one of the easiest to use) will allow you to print color photos from your camera, or anything scanned into your computer from your printer in black and white.

Also Costco will print your photos in black and white, and you can get large sizes to frame,, as home printers can only print up to 8 x 10.

once you've downloaded your pictures to your computer- they can be emailed to staples with color or black n white or sepia tone instructions as well as the size you wish them to be.
