Need helping bedroom wall color...
I have a black bed frame, black furniture, cherry wood floors, and greyish-taupe/black/silver bedding. I would like a dark wall or any color thats deep & rich. Any idea? Thanks Smile

Welcome. I am concerned that with the dark furniture and flooring that your desire for dark walls will be too cave-like. Typically, there should be contrast and the walls should be a complimentary backdrop to your furnishings. It is frequently recommended that wall color should be pulled from a new or existing print. In the case of a bedroom, it can be pulled from a comforter, window treatment, pillows, a rug or even art. Factor in the fell you seek and the lighting conditions in this space. Cool colors compliment your cherry floors. View all potential chips under the day and night lighting of you room. Once narrowed down to two colors, buy samples and paint a test board to observe over several days and nights. When you've found the perfect color, decide which hue value works best.

Burgundy??? If you have the right amount of mood/ambient lighting, (include a gorgeous, lush green 'statement' plant with an uplight under/behind it to create romantic shadows) it could be quite dramatically beautiful!

The only issue that comes up when walls, floors and furnishings are all dark and that is bright white woodwork in the mix.
If all your woodwork is bright white, consider toning it down with an off white or greyed, or beige trim to go along with the darker room.
