Hi everybody, living room is coming along nicely, could someone do an accent wall, and something to do with the front of the fireplace. i don't want burgandy, cream or green as there are my colors in the living. i'd love to see what i can do with the walls. I still don't feel like it's warm in the living or cozy

It would be easier if you know of some colors you'd like. Maybe look on the BM or SW site and post some names of colors that appeal to you then myself or someone else can do the wall color change for you. I did however do the two following mock ups. I carried the wall all the way up over the fireplace (basically closing in the top of the fireplace) and I added trim molding and a mantel to the fireplace.

White Fireplace

Dark Wood Fireplace

Thank you so much you're the first to do a mock up for me. when i bought the house my son came over and said he could bring it up. I love the fireplace but it's been a pain in the neck especially with furniture placement. i'll look at some colors and let you know. i'd love a mantle. it's so plain looking, i'm suprised the people before me didn't do something with it. it doesn't have that warm feeling. I guess i should i should iron the panels seeing how i'm keeping them lol. I did move the curio, it just didn't look good there.

I liked both of Beantown's mockups, for some reason the white appealed to me more...the mantel really stood out! I bet you would enjoy having a mantle, myna.
