Hey all! How are your projects going?

Thanks to all the tips and advice re: my knees. It was kind of anticlimactic.... after a month of daily pain, it pretty much went away right after I made the appointment- and was gone by the time I was there! :Roll Eyes: But it was good to get in to the doctor anyway. It is most likely arthritis- and I have exercises that I need to do to help with that. Also- I need new shoes. My walking shoes have 500+ miles on them! So- that's the plan. And we'll see where it goes from there.

As for my projects: We have had record breaking heat for the past three days, and it is likely again today. (100 degrees+) So working outside in the garage is difficult. It's just too hot! I'm hoping to be able to get back to the mudroom soon. (but I'm not going to push it right now)

I have cleaning/organizing tasks that can be done, however. Oh... but I DID get a new ceiling fan- which is perfect right now since it moves a lot more air than the old one and helps with keeping us cool in this record heat. I'll post a picture later)

So- what are YOU up to?

Hi TQ,

Glad your knee is feeling better and you are back to your projects.

After being side-lined with back issues last month, I am finally "back" on track also. Just finished the front garden bed. Since TS Debby kept us cloudy and cooler I just had to take advantage and get it done. Dson carries 3 bags of mulch at a time for me. All I had to do was cut the bag open and toss handfuls.

DD has picked her paint colors and approved her samples so she is ready to paint her new apartment in bright tropical aqua colors. What fun!

Good Luck Everyone!

I am still slowly but surely decorating our new home and getting things organized. My back has been out since Sunday so nothing has been done this week except dh brought home a new swing and a new glider for our front porch. They are our anniversary gifts to each other. Our 29th wedding anniversary was on Monday. I LOVE them.

Do you rent him out, LOL?

TQ glad your knee pain has abated. I hope to get my flower pots planted for the back porch. This is no biggie, but I had to wait for the plants at our discount store. Lovely geraniums, begonias, impatiens only 1.99 a pot.
