These are awesome!!! Love the burlap. Do you think I could add them to my set of 4?

Here is a better picture of my dining table and chairs with the leaf in the table as an oval.

Thank you for the replies but I decided I am going to wait to find chairs with a solid seat or the cushion that can be re-upholstered.

I too like the chairs....if you could have someone cut a peice of plywood that fits the top of the chair seat, it would be an easy thing to upholster. You would have to get the padding and the fabric but I think it is doable without much trouble.

I think you made the right choice. I do like the chairs, but I don't think they go well with your living room furniture and the dining area is open to the living area.

The first thing that came into my mind is WHERE will you put them? Then what would you use them for - your table won't accommodate 4 more chairs.
Then the next thing that I thought of was....wouldn't sitting on something so bristly be uncomfortable?

So....my vote is NO.

To carify them not going with the LR furniture- the style is okay, I was thinking in terms of color. These chairs are more of an airy romantic look which is fine with your table, but since that is open to your LR- and your LR furniture is more dark and heavy...
