OK - so it has been a VERY busy week around here! Lots of work - drywall, floors, and now cabinets!

Check out the progress:

What you can't see is the wall opposite the sink - it will have two pantry cabinets bumped out and framing the fridge. A little framework needs to go up. Sink should go in Monday or Tuesday after a little tweak of outlets. Need to choose hardware, paint, light fixtures, and pick up the backsplash tile. Whew!

Ah takes me back to the days when I remodeled kitchens, LOVE the feeling the homeowner got when this stage was in.

I can picture you just staring at it imagining where things will go and how it will all look!

SOON...! Congrats for getting to this stage and you are a dear for sharing it all with us! Thank you!

I love the white cabinets. They are my favorites! Looks like you will have a very nice workable kitchen with lots of counter space and cupboard space too.

Is that the sink in the corner under the window? with the space for DW? What will go in opening to the right of that?

Farm sink directly under the window ( and thankfully NOT on a corner seam), dw, then the small pull out for flat storage, then the range w/micro hood. You wouldn't think a rectangle would be hard to reconfigure, but without doing major reworking of the plumbing, etc, we were limited!

Here is the built in pantry that will house the fridge - I was really worried about this piece. Thought it might be too large, etc. but it looks great!

WaHOO! That is the way to frame a fridge! So glad you had the space to do that! What a great way to put away groceries after shopping... all in ONE area! I had a small wheel cart in Virginia to put all groceries on and wheel to the pantry, mine was next to the fridge.

We are remodeling our pantry now in this Florida house where it is next to the fridge, so convenient!

Also with that placement of the pantry cabinets, you insure that your fridge door/doors open all the way for removal of vegetable drawers for cleaning.

Looking GREAT in your kitchen!
You must be so excited!
