So I moved into my new apartment and it's in a horrible state. i can't decide on anything! My windows have traverse type things and I hate them. I'm planning on buying a regular rod and putting those up instead. I'm trying to have my place look lively and cozy (at the same time) but I can't get my colors in order. I need help.

So my questions to all of you:
What are good colors that compliment each other?
have any of you heard/tried a miralux bed?
What can I do to get my place together?

P.S. My favorite colors are Pink & sliver but i'm 29 with no children so I don't think those will work!
    Thank you,
    Natalicious

Nat, are you able to paint your walls? If not, what color are they now?

I think it'd look gorgeous to have LOTS of luxurious light pink curtains, white furry rugs, glittering mirrors, lamps with glass ball bases or silvery ones!

Well, you haven't been moved in very long - so give yourself a break! It takes time to get the design process going. Start with taking stock of what you have to work with. What furniture pieces do you have? What are the colors of the things you already own? Can you post any pictures of the space?

Then think about your needs. What would make your space more functional? Make a list so that you can eventually start looking for those items.

Look through lots of magazines for inspiration. Look for color combinations, and interesting furniture layouts. Take your time and ideas will begin to form.

Pink and silver can work just like any other colors. Do what you love.

There are infinite shades of pink so you are not limited to baby or bubblegum pink. Also it could easily be used as an accent color with other colors such as brown, grey, or navy.

I think it would help us to know what your style is. Also what furniture you already have. A pic or three would be most helpful if possible.

Don't be discouraged, I've moved 20-some times and it always takes a little while to get it all together. Give yourself a couple of months at least.
