Color for bathroom wall? Pic Sign In/Join

What color would you go with for the walls with this shower curtain? Right now they are painted Latte - the color in the pic next to the curtain, not the 3rd one that shows it orange-like at the bottom of the stairs. Would you stick with that color? The painter has to paint a second coat yet, so now's a good time to make a decision. Smile DH said I could just find another curtain, but I really like this one; the colors are so happy!
This is for our basement bathroom. Outside the walls are Latte. The wall color down the stairwell is a sage green.
The flowers in the curtain are a soft raspberry and soft purple. Would that be too many different colors as we look down the stairs and the bathroom walls would be a different color? You wouldn't see very much of the walls.
Around the corner, one bedroom is a slate blue as seen in my previous posting.
Here are some pics...

This is one of the 2 bedrooms around the corner at the bottom of the stairs.

How committed are you to the shower curtain? My advice would be to keep the latte paint and get a simple white or cream tonal shower curtain.

cavin - thanks for your note.
I'm not committed. It's been with us for 10 years. Smile

And I tend to agree with you about "cream" because of the latte walls. I was trying so hard to add color in the bathroom. Smile

I agree...shop for a new curtain...preferably one of a fabric material w/ vinyl liner. If your trim is white, a crisp white curtain (spa like w/ waffle weave perhaps) is clean and simple.

With neutral walls and white trim, color can be brought in via things like art, towels, rug or runner, accessories.

I agree with the idea to get a new shower curtain. For 15.00 - 20.00 you can really spiff up the bathroom.

There is one at Target, couldn't find it online, but it has horizontal stripes that are about two or three inches wide. Navy/royal blue and white. Something like that would be really dynamic with your walls.

Or a crisp white linen look. That would be clean and fresh, and you could add any color accessories.

There are so many fun things going on in shower curtains, and they are inexpensive, so ditch that tired old floral one and have some fun!

cocok - I wished there was a "like" button like Facebook has. You made me smile describing my "tired old curtain." Smile I'm definitely gonna check out some shower curtains at Target. I saw some waffle weave ones on line at Target, too; but will look for that blue and white one you described. Did you see it in the store?
