Sorry to hear that, you have to do something with your computer or virus scan to allow links to be accepted from this site. Complicated and do not want to get into technical issues, but I ended up calling my cable company to figure out how to get around their firewall. I do not have a regular virus protection software on my computer because my cable company has one, and I had to disable my old anti virus so that the cable one could work, I had two firewalls blocking sites. Once they talked me through that, all was cleared up.
Your issue could be something like that. It is hard to know what they did when transferring from Shiffs (not sure of name or something like that) to Social Strata a while back as the ones who handle the site here. I had problems but somehow updates took care of my issues with this site.

The issues could be as easy as downloading a few updates and patches to your existing computer software.

I'm a "small space" fan. Just a personal preference. I have a small condo and wishing for a smaller condo! I don't consider alot of space a luxury and enjoy seeing small homes so post away ladies!

Did someone say HT forums are closed? Looks like they are slow but I didn't realize they are done.

annie17,
Good point! I use Firefox also, I switched when IE just stopped working for me (too many loading issues) my Cable company suggested switching to it, sorry I forgot to mention that too. Thanks annie for bringing that up!

OH dear, I haven't been there in years, since 2006, so had no idea of the changes. I thought it was closed but it is still there. Like here, it's not very active.

I would be very sorry if the boards went away Frown

I am also on the Garden Web site, but post in "Holidays" over there. IMHO, they are one of the most caring, supportive, wonderful group of individuals one could ever ask to "meet".

Over there, in addition to our decorating posts, we sometimes share OT personal needs for support and receive it from the members.

I have NEVER had any mean or malicious responses from any of the members there.

It is an option worth considering, again IMHO.

Just sayin,
Candy
