Iron Baby Bed Sign In/Join

I have an antique iron baby bed that I would like to convert to a love seat. Does anyone know how to do this or a website that would give directions?

Sounds wonderful! Google a search and you can chose to view images too until you see something you like then click on it and it should take you to a site.

I Google search all the time and find what I need to know pretty quick.
Good luck and if you can post picture and our idea maybe then someone might know more about the direction you are going to take the project!

I did a Yahoo search and got nothing. Tried Google (thank you Mary Ruth) and came up with my exact baby bed

Now I'm sure I can find out how they supported the one side that is not used.
Thank you.

I took a copy from that link of the bed without bedding to show the frame (not how you are going to use it).

If you have a secure way to attach those front connections so they do not release, then you do not need to do much to make your bench. That is if you are going to use the spring that comes with it.

But if you want to make it permanent, then I would take it to a shop that does welding and have it permanently secured so no one will get hurt if the bed happens to become undone. You could also add a piece of plywood on top of the spring frame to make the seat more stable if that is your intention.

Beautiful project! I hope you will be able to post pictures of it when done! I love exciting projects like this one, you know it will look awesome when you are done!
