Medlin The picture in my original post was sooo large. My room does not touch the completeness of the design of yours, and the picture of my whole room also seemed intrusive to me. I deleted it meaning to resize and repost the clock but needed to care for my DH who suffers from back pain. I then forgot. So here is my resized picture. Tell your FIL he made his Jo and this Jo both happy. I love heirlooms weaved into a home. I mentioned that the yellow vase in this picture is a McCoy va was from my childhood home and the doll trunk was a gift from my next door neighbor who was also my 3rd grade teacher.

Lisa Ann, OOAL, and Mary Ruth, thank you!

Busyjo, your pic was definitely not too big, nor was it intrusive. Your room is beautiful! I love your family pieces, and how special that you have something from your neighbor/teacher. Give your DH my best. Back pain is a booger!

I will definitely pass your message along to my FIL. It will make his week! The clock needs repair, as you can see the weights are laying in the bottom. It is actually on loan to me from my youngest DD who is meant to have it. We won't have it repaired until she moves into a bigger place and it's in it's permanent home.
