Half Price Drapes, an internet site based in California? I am not advertising just interested in their reputation.

I am down to the window treatments for my living room and while their prices are not cheap they are less than custom drapes.

This is the second time I have posted this question which either evaporated or had some trigger word.

Any feedback is appreciated or other suggestions for companies. Thanks.

Gwenda

I'll copy the reply I gave on your other post in case it got lost...?

Have you thought of using window scarves? They come in very long lengths and all you'd have to do is make rod pockets one one end....or do what DD did...add loops and mount decorative knobs on the wall from which to hang the scarves. Depending on the width of the scarf, two or three loops per scarf should do the trick. Easy peasy.

I second the recommendation to check out Country Curtains having purchased there myself. Though I have one close by, along with their web site they have a catalog and can mail you fabric swatches too.

I love Country Curtains and have bought from them many times over the years. They are an excellent value for ready-made window treatments.

If you want custom treatments, the online company Smith+Noble has a wide range of products and now offers in-home measuring and installation. For that matter, a local window coverings company could do the same for you and at a comparable price.
