I "think" I have decided on this bedding. I've been busy taking stuff back to just about every store in town and now I think this may be it. Not too dark, not too masculine, etc. Since my bed has to be in front of a window, what suggestions on fabrics/patterns for the curtains? I sew, so I can make my own if I have too!!

ETA: my furniture is in a medium brown tone and the walls are an Oatmeal color.

Nice bedding, Wanda! You are so right...not too...TOO!

I can't wait to see what Sonny comes up with. My bed is in front of a window as well, and it can be a hard thing to do correctly. Ideas, please!

Believe it or not at JCP. I've seen it several times in passing but it never "spoke" to me!! It's from the American Living line. Someone said that line was part of Ralph Lauren? IDK...heard it through the grapevine. There is a pic on another thread, I'll see if I can find it and post here. I'm at work now so no pics on computer.

I've seen that at Penneys- It's very pretty. I love the accenting floral pattern.

Love the bedding. I have a stripe pattern, too in my bedroom and the bed is in front of a window. I used shears pulled tight (top to bottom) with fullness for privacy, then a natural wood-woven blind (for texture)and darkness and panel drapes (that stay open all the time)for softness. It looks really nice.

Love that bedding. It should be beautiful with the darker bed. When deciding on the window dressing over the bed, remember to be able to darken that area if you should want to take an afternoon nap as I often do. Can't wait for the mock up with window, bed, and wall color.

Here's the window in that room. I bought lamps and mirrors. I may need to get another end table as that little table to the left is a bit tall.
