Just want to advise your viewers on a new suspended foundation design called "SlabTek" which is sweeping Texas and possibly other states soon but is not all it "claims" to be!

We have this foundation in our 3 year old custom built home and it has proven to be an unbelievable disaster! This company has made many excuses for their design but still provided no fix for the movement and our home is literally being torn apart.

They assure buyers on their website that this design can handle expansive soils and will effectively eliminate foundation movement. They claim it is best used in highly expansive soils and where geotechnical data is unreliable. They also state that having this foundation will virtually eliminate warranty issues such as cracks in brick and drywall.

The video is unwatchable with that shrieking violin soundtrack. What was the warranty when you bought the house?

I assume you have engaged lawyers to help you out here. Here in NC foundations typically come with a 10 year warranty.

I could have done without the music in the background and the zooming in and out and 5 minutes would have been enough to tell your story.

Good luck, you're going to need some kind of permanent repair done to ever be able to sell your house. I would talk to a lawyer if you haven't already and an independent structural engineer for an assessment of what can be done. With your plumbing drains rising up out of the floor it looks like either your house is sinking or the plumbing is being jacked up by the expansive soils at a different rate than the slap.
