Fan Favorite - Britany???
So when did Britany pull ahead of Yuki for the fan favorite??? ALL along it was Yuki, Yuki, Yuki (don't really even remember her)!!! Is this something else the producers have twisted around???

Britany has been ahead, at least, since Hilari was eliminated. That was the first time I checked the fan vote.

Not sure exactly when Britany went ahead of Yuki but she was ahead last week. I voted for her the week after Stanley won the Kardashian episode, thought her 3-D mirrored wall was great. I stopped voting for her after her outburst over losing the Hollywood Lounge challenge.

Voted for Mikel, and then Hilari when she was sent home. I didn't vote everyday but by the time we knew Hilari wasn't going to win she was too far behind to ever win fan favorite.

I liked Yuki, the little we saw of her but don't know how she could have been a fan favorite. Same could be said of Kathy from last season, except we saw too much of her! LOL

The real problem I have with the fan favorite is what they win........a web show. Anyone seen Kellies? I saw one of Dan's from several seasons ago but I have searched and can't find them. It's why I didn't really care if I voted everyday.

Well, like I said in another thread, I smell a rat with the fan vote when someone that's the first to be eliminated gets number 2 in the fan vote. Who even knew who she was?

A similar thing happened on "Food Network Star" this season. A woman came in number two in the fan vote because she lobbied extensively online and on radio programs to get people to vote for her. She was a Mexican-American cook and pushed hard with the Mexican community in LA for votes, and it worked. She wasn't eliminated that early, but still there was NO WAY she would have come in second place without that lobbying.

One thing I have to say about "Food Network Star" is that once a contestant is eliminated, you can't vote for them anymore, which is actually fairer to them because at least we know that the votes aren't being influenced by people who will turn their backs on them just because they were eliminated.
