Love him as a host and mentor. Would love him as a judge. Want to see a lot more of him.

I think David is doing a great job. So glad they combined the host/mentor role this year.

I'm so glad that Tanika is out & David is doing both the hosting and mentoring. I would love to meet him some day.

I agree, David is great as host. And, of course, he's a pretty talented designer, too.

ITA. He gives good, solid and sound advice. Danielle took his advice about incorporating some color and not go the route of black and gold again, and she won. Love David.

I'd love to have him paint something to hang on my wall. Wish he had time to do custom paintings.

David is the whole package and has been right out of the gate. Even so, he's grown tremendously over the years in all his skills - design skills, mentoring skills & hosting skills - all while maintaining his warmth, personality, charm and fundamental decency. It's been a joy watching him develop over the years! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

I just do not understand this whole adoration of David. I will grant you he is doing a credible job of hosting this show but beyond that I think he leaves a lot to be desired.

On his original seris he was a good host but his rooms were all so dark and gloomy even TV lights could not make them look good. The next series he improved but then he started getting arrogant and before he left CA he was speaking to his co-workers in a degrading manner.

Miami was no improvement in his attitude and his styling was so bad that a lot of posters spoke their disapproval.

Lastly, any grown man that gives an interview using small boy speak ("I just heart her so much") does not have my respect.
