I haven't watched the new show yet, but I have to say how annoying the hosts are. Do the hosts realize they are ruining their own popularity with their snooty attitude? I dislike them all intensely. I was an extreme fan of Candace, and now I dislike her. I can't even look at GG or Vern's shows. I wonder if other people feel this way and if the hosts are coached to have the bratty looks frozen to their faces for the camera by some crazy director.

Sadly, someone told them they are superior and important and they believed! I disliked GG on Trading Spaces and haven't learned to like her on HGTV. Vern putting down Contestants on Seasons 1&2 for things he did on Trading Spaces turned me off him and I haven't recovered my respect.

David, don't blow it! You're still the sweet boy I remember from Season 1! You got a teensy bit haughty on the WRC but only a wee bit and if you don't become as jealous and insecure as Vern, you'll be okay!

David is this years host and mentor, I thought he did a good job.

I think you are confusing host with judges. I thought they did a much better job last year, they weren't near as snarky as they were the year before.

I don't think Vern or Gen have new shows on right now, but I would watch them if they did. They may sometimes annoy me but I think they are good designers. I don't watch HGTV as much as I used to. I liked when the afternoons had different shows, I can watch one Income Property but I don't want to watch it all afternoon. I miss Designers Challenge the most, seldom even see repeats of it.

So even though some new judges would be nice, I will still watch Vern and Gen. I have never thought they looked bratty or frozen.
