This is Danielle's new show. I am so glad she won. She was my choice. Between her and Brittany, she comes accross as warm, friendly and has more life when she speaks. Brittany not so much. She was still stiff on camera. Both are very good designers but Danielle is better. Ever since Color Splash was cancelled, I rarely watch HGTV. Now there is something I can look forward to. I found my 2nd DS winner. David is still # 1 in my book.

I just noticed an advertisement on HGTV MB that David's paintings are now available at Pier 1. Yay!!! Now it is more accessible to his fans instead of just ordering it online.

Didn't David switch over to Color Splash Miami? It used to be on Saturday night, but I haven't looked for it in a while.

If HGTV wants to promote a show about how to shop for a room then they would be better off picking Sparkle Josh as the host.

That would be flat out entertaining!

I'm looking forward to Danielle's show. I hope they give her a carpenter with a good on-camera personality (and good cerpenter skills goes without saying).

One "funny" thing I noticed was that in the side interviews (not sure that's the correct term), Danielle was very likeable and comfortable. She'll be a terrific host when she can be as relaxed and relatable in her show.

I am really looking forward to this show because shopping is one of the things I do best! Smile
I really want Sparkle Josh to get a show because some of us girls love the bling!

Don't forget - this is on tonight - 7:00 Central, I think. Looking forward to it and really really hoping it's a viable, intelligent show!

I loved it. I went to make sure my DVR was set to record it for tonight and, poof, it is gone. Done. I hope they pick her up. I am so sick of love it or list it, Danielle's show was like a million times better and more useful to me as a DIY'er.

DIY is genetic.

I hope her show is not done. I just started back watching HGTV but I am getting very disgusted with their choice of shows.

How many episodes did they show? I only remember about 4 or so at the most. How could it be gone already? WTF is going on with TV these days. It's like they're going out of their way to alienate viewers. Danielle's show is very good.

I have a feeling they only recorded 4 shows but will probably bring her back for a full season at some point. Didn't they do this with Meg at first? Showed a few shows, then gave her a full season?

Apparently, they did 5 shows because there is a new Shop This Room on at 5 P.M. EDT next Saturday. Love how HGTV promotes their new Design Star! Can't let anything get in the way of another Love It or List It rerun!

Interesting show - frankly, I'm glad it's more than shopping. For, while smart shopping is an important skill, it is not design.
