Now they have Meg giving her critique of the Design Star Show. She got Design Star last season. She is in her second season with her own show. She was one of the designers on the Christmas and Halloween Specials. She was Judge on White Room Challenge and from the promo I've seen, I think she is going to be a guest judge on this year's Design Star. Everywhere I turn, there is Meg.
I don't recall any other designers getting all this coverage so early in their careers.
David gets a lot of air time, but he has been around for a few years and paid his dues.
This is just my opinion.

Don't you remember when Kim Myles won? She was EVERYWHERE! You couldn't turn on HGTV without seeing her doing something. They've also sort of pushed Antonio - I've seen him on other shows for HGTV, he was a guest judge on WRC, etc. It's just part of HGTV promotion that goes along with winning DS, I think.
I find Meg to be a very likable person with designs people can live with, nothing too over the top.
In the nicest possible way, however, I wish she would have a fashion intervention. She needs to wear pants with full legs and tops that aren't so tight. I don't mean to put her down, just hope she will reconsider her outfits.
Last season they had the previous season's winner (the blonde stylist whose name has totally slipped my mind) do a commentary. So utilizing Meg this year actually makes sense.
Speaking of which.... has Secrets from a Stylist been picked up for another season?
Do you mean Emily? Thought I heard she was filming add'l Secrets episodes but no word that it's on HGTV's schedule, yet. Time to check her blog when I have a chance.
WRT Meg, I'm sure she's happy to have scored a second season instead of being dumped onto the permanent home show/county fair circuit with Kim Myles and Antonio (apparently). Although, because she's definitely everywhere, sounds like she's doing those, too.
I thought Meg's recap was insightful but I just find her so hard to listen to, she just doesn't have a pleasant voice. I do not watch her show but I will probably watch her Design Star recaps. Yes, I am that obsessed with this show but not so obsessed that I'll read all the comments on the blog!
Yes, blueday... Emily! Thank you! (I don't know why I couldn't remember her name)
I have missed her show- I really like her style.
I have also found that I like Meg's style- though I have to admit, with just about every room she's done on her show, there is always something I absolutely love, and always at least one thing that I think was a stinker of a choice. Go figure!

I agree - I love, love, LOVE Meg, but I wish someone would hook her up with Stacy and Clinton from "What Not to Wear."This message has been edited. Last edited by: lavern2,

I'm not bothered by what she wears... but I do think Meg needs to lose the "dinosaur arms" when she speaks. She holds her arms forward in a weird way that reminds me of a T-rex... it's part of her presentation style, but it looks kind of odd.
But then again- if that is all that is wrong with her, then I can get over it.
