You know, Zycote, you're perfectly free to express your opinion but your constant negativity is really depressing. You seem to be a very unhappy person and I feel badly that you seem so blinded by your economic woes you can't see that there may be some ideas you could incorporate into your own home, on a lower budget.
I hope you'll give some of these shows another chance - no, Million Dollar Rooms may not show you much, but if you take another look at any of the design shows you can see ideas you can do on a lesser scale.

Amen to that doodles64! I certainly do not have a high budget but I find tons of inspiration from most of the design shows. I agree, Million Dollar Rooms may not be the show for this Zygote, but Secrets of a Stylist, Color Splash are both great shows with lots of inspiration. David shops for his room quite a bit at Home Goods and that stuff is pretty cheap, not on the high end at all. And Emily goes to thrift stores and flea markets. How much more low end do you want? Her rooms most times are a blend of high AND low. Anytime I see a room that I like but is over my cost I hit my local flea market and thrift stores in search of something similar that I can recreate on my budget.

I agree, I've only been on this board for about 15 minutes and have seen at least four "hate this show" comments from you, zygote!

I don't know if you have a limited amount of channels on your cable system, but please go to another network and let the rest of us enjoy HGTV and each other's comments in peace...
