Come on guys, recognize the new star now. Stan the Man has the talent BUT he also has the skill to implement. Hes a great presence on TV and everytime I watch, I am drawn to him. A true designer is not "taught", its a gift. He screams vison of design. Good luck Stan the Man!

Are you related to him? Implelment, yes but so far haven't really seen the talent. Not feeling that TV presence either. Maybe he'll design a great party this week. Smile

Stan can weld and saw lumber and construct things but we certainly haven't seen him design very much. His camera challenges haven't been very good either. I don't see him as the next design star.

He IS surprising me by turning out to be more likable than I'd thought at first. I was probably thinking he was too much like Antonio when the show started, and I'm sure that colored my feelings.

Stan was one of the best, forward-thinking designers on the show. Sure, his designs do not fit HGTV audience, because very few people are bold enough to implement his suggestions. I loved the kitchen, I think this kitchen should be showcased in the best international design magazines.
Loved the table with the vase too. People put large vases on the tables all the time, they have no problem sitting around it.
I am sure Stanley would find the audience that can truly appreciate his progressive design thinking and taste. Would have loved to see him on the show a bit longer. He is also one of the hard-working, likable guys, who gets things done and can compromise.
