Episode 4 - Indoor/Outdoor (spoilers)
Yea Hilari!! The first week I actually agree with the judges. So glad that Mikel was also recognized.

Miera was also my choice to go home. Got them both right tonight. I think we found out that Miera was the problem not Kris, amazing what editing can do. Maybe Miera thought she could overpower Danielle, and she should gave listened when Danielle told her the built-in wasn't going to work.

I hope Danielle learned that she needs to finish her projects before she helps with someone elses. I know she was thinking about the client but I think Miera would have thrown her under the bus if it was Danielle that had screwed up.

I really liked Kris this week, his tables were nice and I liked that patio the best. Other than where Rachel put the kids area, all it needed was a short wall to hide the trash can, I thought she did okay. Wonder what her problem was with the camera challenge? Maybe she was just missing her daughter and lost sight of the goal.

I liked that Brittany and Stanley worked so well together. I liked their wall but didn't like the design of the cabana. Not to sure about using reclaimed wood for a deck, especially by a pool. Going to require maintenance and flip flops! Smile Wished they had shown more of it.

Even liked the judges tonight! Great episode.

I just looked at the pictures posted on the blog. The more I look at it the more I love Hilari and Mikel's room. I think it is my all time favorite Design Star room. Plus they totally finished it. I think everyone but Miera and Danielle finished their rooms.

Hey there! I absolutely agree with you 100%. I'm from Austin,so I was also very happy to see that Kris was not the problem. I pegged Miera as the difficult one from the start, but this show really revealed it. I could not believe how rude she was to Danielle -who seems like a very steady, kind person. She really went after Kris last week! Ok-he got the point-but no-she had to rip him to shreds. So picky, & jealous! She cried to get sympathy, imho. It makes me wonder if she treats her kids that way. Hmm...

I thought some of it was pretty staged, why would any one in a competiton help someone do something they didn't even agree with and not make sure their project wasn't finished. I agree with helping each other but not to that extent. These reality shows don't seem to understand their is enough natural drama without staging drama.

I'm not crazy about Kris, but was glad to see he wasn't nearly as annoying this week - it must have been editing to make him seem like an annoying little pipsqueak on previous shows.

I agree - also from Austin and it was nice to see someone from our area!

i do believe that kris can be an annoying little pipsqueak and may turn out that way again... depending on who he works with! meira set him straight and going in a better direction. rachel is so easy to work with... she didn't challenge him or try to get him to change anything the way the others did but just went ahaed with something for herself.... which, i believe, kris knew was crap.... and the only place he didn't claim was next to the garbage.
i think he's still a sneaky little sh*t and not to be trusted....
