Danielle's show tonight (actually two shows)
was well done, IMO. She seems to be comfortable and personable with the families and the assistants who help her. Looking forward to seeing more of the show.

Yes, I liked the show also. It was good that she showed a variety of places to shop - none of this "one size fits all" crap the way some of them do - and I liked that she gave some of the names/locations of the stores. Naturally, there are few of us who are in that part of the country so would probably never be able to visit them, however it does show that you can seek out quirky little places in your own location. I especially liked that she said something about her aunt (?) knowing all the little shops in that one area.
Now - the only thing I didn't care for was at times it seems to almost mimic the latest version of Design on a Dime. However, that could be just a necessary byproduct of an HGTV show.
ALso - do wish she'd given the budget for each project. I think this is important, even if viewers are only getting an idea of one or two items they'd like to incorporate into their own design plan.
All in all, it's a better DS winner's show than some of them and hopefully will appeal to a wide audience.

I really liked Danielle's show. I would have liked to know the budget.

I liked the shutters she had made for the windows in the kitchen. The tables that Justin made for the living room were beautiful.

I hope this show stays around for a long time. It is going to be one of my favorites.

since I would never make it to those shops and especially 'designer only shops' I love getting a glance or two at what is in there.

I like the fact that she finds an "inspiration piece" and then decorates the room(s) around it.

She also listens to the client and gives them what THEY want, and not what SHE thinks they need.

I tend to do the same thing...

I'll see an item or a picture, and then work around that "inspiration."
