Danielle's show tonight (actually two shows) was well done, IMO. She seems to be comfortable and personable with the families and the assistants who help her. Looking forward to seeing more of the show.
Yes, I liked the show also. It was good that she showed a variety of places to shop - none of this "one size fits all" crap the way some of them do - and I liked that she gave some of the names/locations of the stores. Naturally, there are few of us who are in that part of the country so would probably never be able to visit them, however it does show that you can seek out quirky little places in your own location. I especially liked that she said something about her aunt (?) knowing all the little shops in that one area. Now - the only thing I didn't care for was at times it seems to almost mimic the latest version of Design on a Dime. However, that could be just a necessary byproduct of an HGTV show. ALso - do wish she'd given the budget for each project. I think this is important, even if viewers are only getting an idea of one or two items they'd like to incorporate into their own design plan. All in all, it's a better DS winner's show than some of them and hopefully will appeal to a wide audience.
