I came across a new episode of White Room Challenge tonight. The four contestants had to decorate for mannequins dressed as a lady executive, a soccer mom, a surfer and a rock star. They also had to buy clothes and accessories to use in decorating their rooms. David Bromstadt was the host and the judges were Jillian Reynolds and another lady who I can't remember, but she was said to be a decorator for the stars The winner got $10,000. Did anyone else see this show? I had not seen it advertised.
I didn't see it advertised either. I saw the listing in my tv guide but it didn't say that
it was a new show.I thought the outcome was predictable(I don't want to reveal the ending).
But I really like the show and was glad to see a
I check HGTV pretty regularly and saw on the TV shows guide that it will be aired on fridays at 8 p.m. I caught the last 5 minutes of it. The show was brought back after the All Star Design Star show. I ll try to watch it but it may be a bit hard on friday nights. If it was on a bit later, I will for sure watch it.
I saw this episode also, and while I thought the challenge was intriguing and interesting...
...Sorry to say this, but none of the "designers" impressed me at all - They came across as amateurs.
While each person did ONE creative thing in their "box," none of them designed or created a room that "blew the competition away" in my opinion.
It was entertaining, however, to watch that one scatter-brained female waste so much time. I thought for sure her ditzyness was a set-up for her to turn out to be the winner.
I was wrong.
