Message Boards

I'm new to the boards, just joined today. I've been trying to enter the 2013 contest for the HGTV home giveaway and keep getting the message "our bad" and that there is a problem with the site. Is anyone else having this problem?

The only problem I have is not being able to put the facial expressions smiley things on my message boards. It is not the same without them! I noticed it works for some people.
Do you guys know how to fix this problem?

Just try again lovemycats, sometimes a site can be on overload if to many people are entering at once. Once you enter the first time click to save your information and the next time you come, just click on your first name where it asks, is this (in my case Judith) and it makes entering a snap.

Gumby is alive and working his bu-- off. I have posted many times to throw a comment about OUR Jack to Beach lady and alas it has gone into that lost place that only Gumby knows about! One more shout out to Beachlady! Hey There, I hope your health is better.

To the Beez:

A lot of the tools aren't working right, but in regards to the graemlins, it you click on Tools, then click on Help in the drop menu, you will find a link called Graemlin codes, which shows you what to type in the text to produce the faces in your message. That's what I've been using and it should work for you that way.

Hi teal, I do not find those codes under either help or codes, any suggestions. I only know the basics

Thanks nursejudy I'll keep trying. At least I've been able to enter on the other site.

It is so nice seeing names from the past popping up again.

Oh no loveallmycats - hope you get it sorted out. Check to make sure your email is correct in both places.

I was so happy to see I entered all my info and all is working perfectly in both places Find the entry form and your are asked if you are entering as .........? (real first name)

Oooops, don't try and enter twice.

Hey sami I'm fine, just playin' with the Graemlins as they aren't cooperating in the Tool Bar......they been playing in the 'rita truck all summer, I'd say they be a bit addled

I would be having trouble too if I played in the 'rita truck! I am a cheap date and can't handle my liquor.

Are you still experiencing issues?

I can't get the entry form to load on the front door site. (HGTV link is fine.) Any link to the entry form brings me back to the main page.

Does anyone else have a problem with the reminder link to enter that is being sent every day from HGTV?
