Greetings fellow tax payers and house dreamers. I have spent some time in the hospital recently and was afraid I was missing out on the DH 13'. Whew. Made it in time. I see a couple familiar names but a bunch are missing. Hope the "old crowd" shows up soon. This is one of the funner parts of the year for me - Drem Home Time.

Any idea on the taxes with the new tax law just signed? Total value just over 2mil.

Oh no. I was having such a good day and then you say 'taxes'. LOL. I haven't even looked at that aspect yet. How bout our resident tax man. Now there is where we get the real tax answers.

NurseJudy. Wow. If the new percentage changes go into effect I'd think the income taxes are going to be rediculous.

Steve, glad to hear you are out of the hospital, but thinking about taxes is sure to put you back in there! Ack! Like so many other things, we'll think about that tomorrow...

Yeah Vinnie Its a terrible thing for someone to force something from you they didn't even earn. Even if you do win something I don't see anothers right to a portion of it.

Ooooooh there is that "T" word...GreenAlice tries to eradicate it from mind....thoughts of my $500,000.00 not being enough are seeping in....la la la....fiscal cliffs are mirages...aren't they?!?!

HGTV has been kind to offer the $500,000 which would really help with the taxes. Yes you have to pay taxes on that as well, but it would make a difference. If a person had a house to sell as well, it is a possibility. Sounds like a dream to me.
