Sofia lived next to a house with peeling paint on the front, curling shingles on the roof and a rusted car hidden in the back. She dreamed of Charleston pastels and cobblestone streets when she saw the HGTV Dreamhome special. So she packed up her pastels and watercolors to use for a week in South Carolina on Kiawah Island. Just outside Charleston her car broke down and she was short on cash with only enough for her lodging.
Your turn to write....

Reads like a Long Day's Journey into Kiawah Country, Leafly. :>) Can we take odds as to whether or not the heroine will find herself swimming laps in the Plunge Pool?
Aside, Keats would have a blast with your fictional account! Permanence in Beauty! Truly a four-"leafed" clover, Leafly.

Yeah, and somewhere in there paint a pastel---not of "him" but of Sofia. :>) We already might imagine that "he" is the old flame, Andrew, strikingly handsome and, of all things, wearing an Air Force Officer's uniform, wings and Flight Cap, whom she hadn't seen in two years...? Nah, scratch that. This message has been edited. Last edited by: TangoW,

I'm not trying to draw any lines here, but dilapidated bike sounds like feng shui has just entered the building. :>)

I have truly enjoyed following your fictional account. If concrete visioning is the key to the Law of Attraction - this house is yours. Good luck - I am relly feelingit is a MB Dreamer this year.

In light of B o s t o n...
We didn't choose the chaos, hatred or timing.
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born , and a time to die a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted a time to kill, and a time to heal a time to break down and a time to build up a time to weep and a time to laugh a time to mourn and a time to dance a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing a time to seek and a time to lose a time to keep and a time to cast away a time to tear and a time to sew a time to keep silence and a time to speak a time to love and a time to hate a time for war and a time for peace"
Wise people seek peace. E v i l ones breed hate. Others today were caught in the middle doing the best that they could. They WILL Shine like stars across galaxies Lighting the way. Being Remembered always. Good People. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Leafly,

ever heard of Walter di Mare?
Leafly, Leafly! Come! quick as you can! There's a fish that talks In the frying pan! Out of the fat, As clear as glass, He put up his mouth And moaned "Alas!" Oh, most mournful, "Alas, alack!" Then turned to his sizzling And sank him back.
Your journey-story ended better than the fish story, Leafly!
The ol' fish should have hidden himself better in the plunge pool! (But it does get a bit hungry down there, and he bit.)
At least you get to swim once again. :>) and... Don't forget to wear a smile with that Jensen. :>)
