Ok so DH MAY be transferring jobs in March....one potential is a sponser of the DH2013...currently he is not. SOoooooooooo if GreenAlice is drawn and wins before DH switches positions would I be in the clear to win? I know there were exclusions of peeps employed by hgtv or other in the past....need to read up on the fine print...Eek

Oooooh just read the rules....sponsers and families not eligible....so on drawing date DH will NOT be employed by a sponser but sometime in next month he may....sure hope there is a dreamer's loophole there for GreenAlice to slip through just in case.....note to self, encourage DH to reconsider other options that keep GreenAlice dreaming....Cool

DH will simply have to quit his job if I win....LOL this could happen to someone!!! Eek

GA:

I think you are right. Might have to put that career move on hold until after the Big Reveal.

It would sure be nice if a Dreamer won this year.

GreenAlice: YOu should definitely wait until the winner is announced before any change in jobs! Why risk it?

They would do their due diligence, which they would do on anyone, and when they see a potential conflict or "appearance" of a conflict, they will trash your drawing and draw someone else. You will never know you almost won. But don't worry about it because I will win anyway.

Well here it is...let's say they draw and annouce on Feb 27, 2013. DH will still definately NOT be employed by a sponser on that date but may have accepted to work for one sometime in March...so technically? He is not working for one on draw date. But I see a potential snaggle if he does in March anyhow...Roll Eyes....either way this is literally MY LAST CHANCE TO WIN!!!! Eek Wink Goodness after 9 years of dreaming I may continue to dream but not WIN! It's not a win win situation....so really I am wondering IF I were to win and they notify me before DH takes a job....I guess realistically DH could afford to quit and take the cash....Razz. Then later decide if and when to get a new job....after we build our dreamhome where we want to actually reside....Wink....the gears are still turning....thanks for the advice. Big Grin

Glad you are formulating a plan. Always enjoy dreaming with you Alice.I am technically retired,so could think about a move if i win. I say technically as I was immediately called and offered jobs, feels good to be wanted. I am now teaching nursing part time which I love, but i guess there are colleges all over.

nursejudy: "partially retired" is good, but I prefer the freedom of total retirement!
I'm available to move to Dream Home as soon as they announce my name!
