I don't mean to be a downer but is anyone else ready for a new host? I'm sure Monica is a nice person but she talks like sheis 16 and the constant "flirting" drives me crazy. Please bring back or anyone else.

Yesterday I read the story,( in the Chicago Sun-Times,) about Monica's struggle to overcome tragedy and adversity with the deaths of her brother and sister, and how difficult the Christmas holidays are for her.

I have a new found respect for her ability, to provide us with a fun and informative perspective during the HGTV Dream Home presentation. She truly is a sweetheart in my book. Smile

More likely the Joan issue is moot. She has a tremendous following and likability, but chooses to do other gigs.
