dream home uses Sign In/Join

Wonder what anyone thinks of this idea. Using the outside areas of dream home as an informal eating place serving things like sandwiches, homemade ice cream, & homemade cookies, cakes & pies as a small business as well as taking in paying roommates to fill the the three extra bedrooms that would otherwise sit empty. The cash prize money that comes with this wonderful house is certainly more than enough to cover all needed start-up costs. If I won the dream home by, I admit, a very remote miracle, I certainly couldn't afford to keep it and live there otherwise.

You'd probably be fine having roommates, Yellowrose, they can't really tell you who you can live with. But I doubt the HOA would allow a public retail business on the premises. City ordinances, also, would probably prevent such a business as a sandwich shop in a residentially zoned area. But WE'll all be happy to come and visit you for tea and sandwiches....and margaritas, of course!

HI, Tealdreamer. Thanks for your answer. Well, maybe I could instead rent space somewhere close by & start a small business in a commerecially-zoned area. To quote "THE MORE THE MERRIER" saying. You & your family & friends if ever in that area would certainly be very welcome as invited guests to come by for sandwiches chips, dips, cookie, cake pie,& during the hot summer months, even some homemade melt-in-your-mouth ice cream but sorry,no margaritas or any alcoholic drinks, only water, milk, sodas like Pepsis or Cokes & tea, of course as well as the thickest creamiest, most delicious milkshakes you ever tasted. Doesn't that sound good?

Yes, that certainly does sound delightful.

Of course, when I say WE, I am refering to our message board gang, and margaritas are rather a staple around here. But I'm sure we would be happy indulge ourselves in your creamy, yummy milkshakes instead! Our 'rita consumption is actaully just virtual anyway.

Cookie's,Coffee, Ice Cream, Donut's ....all acceptable! Smile
