Hello all. I'm looking for a really old pattern - I think it was in one of McCall's Crafts magazine from days gone by.

It was an afghan done in 2 color "double knit". It had the directions for making this style of knitting and had the chart for making all the patterns in the afghan.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks Sherry. That second link is the method I once knew. Now I just need to find a neat pattern. The one I remember was sort of like a Fair Isle... I know there were rows of snowflake-like thingies.... and people ice skating, skiing, sledding, etc. And of course when done, the figures on one side of the afghan were in one color and on the other side they were in the second color.
