Pattern driving me insane! Sign In/Join

I started something called a baby cocoon for Baby Girl due in July. Supposedly an easy pattern. The pattern part is 5 steps, and I pulled out round two so many times I finally threw it down and told it to crochet itself!

then I calmed down, got on excel, and made a speadsheet, with each of the five parts of the pattern repeating til I had the correct number. That way I could check off each single stitch. It worked!

A friend said she knows someone who makes an index card for each stitch of a pattern, then just flips the cards as she does the stitches.

So now onto round 3!

It's from a book that's at home, called Baby Cocoons, and it's Yellow Puffs, or something like that. I'm only up to round 10. I figured out the pattern, but it's slow.

What pattern do you use?

I ordered the giraffe cozy and hat from annies attic, I have made 5 of them, then I found free ebooks and have saved some on pinterest, I can see why it is slow the puff stitch takes a while. Mine are straight forward and then embleshed to be a giraffe, frog, bear, football, etc. Joan

I went on annie's website, and put it giraffe cozy and got no results. I just put in cozy, and coccoon, and didn't come up with it. Do you remember exactly what they called it?

I did 4 rows tonight!

here is the pattern link I bought, but if I was you I would crochet an ordinary cocoon, crochet various sizes of circles and make the hat from this pattern I am linking you to.

Thanks for all the links! I'll finish the yellow puffs one, then I'm going to try one of the easier ones.
