Hank of garage sale yarn Sign In/Join

This summer I found 3 hanks of really nice brand new Linares,Made in Chile, cotton/viscose,blue ombre yarn
at a g.s.(It was priced $12.each, I got for about $1)
I took the binding loops off and attempted to
wind into a ball, it was a mess.
I took the second hank and was much more careful
with the binding, same result.
I worked for 6 hours (watching tv over a few days) to get it into
a ball. I have done this many times with NO trouble. This one was funky. It is beautiful, soft and worked up nicely.
I know now why it was at a garage sale.
do not know if I will ever try to untangle
the second hank, and may keep the third one
for show and tell.

That is a hoot gal, been there and done that myself. Perhaps the person decided discretion was the better part of leaving the hanks as they were and let someone else battle them.
Glad you could find something to make with the yarn, that alone could make a story for show and tell!
Perseverance is what we do best.

Have a great day!!!!!
