I have been the recipent of a prayer shawl after undergoing surgery to remove colon cancer...I found it very,very comforting to wrap myself in the shawl. I really can't explain the feeling that would come over me when I placed the shawl around my shoulders...it was very calming and very comforting. I applaud you for wanting to help others in this way...

Thanks for letting us know how much the shawls mean, I have made several and prayed for the person while making them, so nice to know the prayers and comfort continues with the wrap.

I've been to Raverly a few times, I can't seem to find my way around.

I also received a prayer shawl for ovarian and colon cancer that's one of the reason's I want to give back. Thanks for the suggestions.
