And here is my how to in Dutch. Sorry about that, but the pics show the secrets:

Hello everybody again, seems to be that you are not really impressed or are you just shy to react?
Anyway I get a lot of readers of my blog(s) from this post, just wanted to say thanks for that!

I see a lag in visitors to HG, sad to say.
Love that we are able to post requests for help,
unlike the new site that is so popular now.
Hope traffic picks up.

Good projects. I stopped knitting a long time ago when I discovered crochet (from my mom) and I would love to relearn. I can cast on, do the knit stitch but the purl stitch is what gets to me. I tried from a book, need hands on, yet I can pick up crochet stitches from books. Go figure.

Anyway, just got back on the boards. Changbed ISP and for some reason, could log onto HGTV.com but not for the forums. So now I am back.

Cool to see some familiar names!
Relearning my stitches was easy, but purling gives me pain. One that is simple and that I love is the brioche stitch.

Very nice ! Many years ago I didn't like to knit. I found it so much slower and tedious than crochet. Now, I love to knit...it slows me down and relaxes me !

There are some very good videos available to learn various stitches. I purl better with the "throw" method.
