I saw someone wearing this article on the Amazing race, seems to be a half sweater back or front, and what would be the arms of the sweater tie either around your shoulders, or around your waist, depending on where you are planning on wearing it.
I am wanting a crochet version, guess I could also call it a fake sweater?
With AC coming on soon, thought this might be just the thing to have at hand.
I googled, and came up dry, hoping maybe someone might have caught something in the newer crochet mags?

thanks for any info!

Have a great day!!!!!

No help yet, huh... I looked it up too and saw only the knitted instructions. But, couldn't you just find a simple crocheted sweater and make the back and continue crocheting past the shoulder for the "arms"?

I was so sure that this would be in the newer crochet mags for the summer, and yes, I probably will have to go that route suggested, Sherry, I think perhaps sport weight yarn would be best, and not so bulky, this is a pretty thing, saw a really nice pic, but disappeared before I could snap it up.
Thanks for any help

I googled "key west Wrap" and it looked at the images. No idea how to convert. I tend to crochet by looking at something but that photo isn't good enough for me. Sorry.

Evelyn, I figgered to do the back of a sweater, if shaped, fine, will start at the bottom and work to the neck, then, perhaps attach the "arms" to the shoulder seams of the sweater and go viola, it is done!
think it could be fudged somewhat, if I just knew I was doing the proper stitching.
sometimes, you hafta take the plunge.

Have a great day!!!!!
