I have several shopping bags but was still coming home with fruit in plastic bags from the store. I downsized a Workbasket pattern for this little produce bag.

Nice!

I'm with Drema, I have knit one and put it in the car, but do you think I remember to take it in the store? No! Smile

Nice one! I'm currently working out how to make the perfect tote/market bag, I'm sure in time I'll get there. I have some posted on my blog.
One I made (when filled) ended up at the back of my ankles, lucky I made it a back pack style.
See pic's here.

I am not understanding the bags, although their beautiful. When do you put your stuff in the bags? At the checkout?

I send my bags down the line first and the sackers put the handles on the bag dispensers and fill them up. The little veggie bags are filled in the produce department. The checker can still see the little tag with the SKU number and they weigh practically nothing. So far, they seem to get a kick out of them.
I keep them on the coatrack next to my pocketbook so I will remember to carry them with me.

I like your bag.

I made 8 canvas bags. I should take a picture.

Here's the rest. They're 15" tall, 12" wide, and 6" deep, roughly.

The white ones are denim, the black one is canvas, and the rest are Cordura. The blue and orange one is a nod to the Denver Broncos.
