I've got about a dozen old silk dresses from years ago, bright colors, hanging in the closet. Don't wear because of dry cleaning. Can I cut them up somehow and crochet with them? I've seen ads for silk "ribbons" at really high prices. Can I do this myself? Not necessarily ribbons but please give me some help or ideas here.
You would have to cut them on the bias to help prevent raveling. Why not try something small and give it a try.
Or if you really like the dresses, have you tried the stuff to do the dry cleaning in your own clothes dryer?
You made me laugh, and I will.
