Varying Lengths Of A Set Of Spoons Sign In/Join

Hi,

I recently sold a boxed set Of 6 EPNS art deco coffee bean handle spoons on eBay. Here's a photo:

I recently received a complaint from the buyer saying that they weren't a proper set because three of them were 10½cm long and the other three were 11cm long.

Please could someone tell me if this kind of variation can be expected in a set, or if they can't be an original set because of this, despite looking so similar?

Thank you,
Joe

There are another couple of sets on eBay. Why not send them a note and ask them to remeasure each spoon and see if theirs have any variation.

If these are "hand crafted," a difference could be expected.

If the buyer is not satisfied, you may have no choice but to refund the purchase price and repost with the measurement descrepancies.
