    Hi All,

My Mom's antique bed has been in storage and I now have a home that it will fit! Problem: It is too short. A double bed mattress will fit BUT, there is no room to tuck sheets or blankets. The average person has to sleep cadycornered. Does anyone know anything about bed extendsions? Would they work?
    Thanks, marjbelle

My mother took her mother's antique bed to a person who worked on antiques. He made a piece to insert in each side to make it longer.

    Love,
    Lu

Thanks Luranda, at least I know now that I am not crazy for wanting a longer bed!!! Found a man who can make me new rails for $35 and I thought that was good.
