I found several pieces of Marutaware at the local Salvation Army Store and have no idea about the history of this china. Can anyone enlighten me as to the date of manufacture or any other information pertaining to this particular pattern. It's called Eden 7011 made in Japan by Midland Enterprises. Thanks so much!

Thanks fogbound. I also saw it on ebay and Replacements Ltd. I'm curious to know its age and how rare it may be.

Hello again. I assume no one has any info for me about age or manufacturer but perhaps someone can give me advice about the safety of using these dishes in the microwave. I've been using the dishes and started to pop a plate in the microwave to reheat and it occurred to me that it might crack so thankfully I transferred the food to a microwave-safe container. Could anyone advise me? Thanks!

I wouldn't use anything in the microwave unless it's LABELLED microwave safe.
