This is probably a long shot, but I thought I would pose this question here. I have what I believe is a vintage lamp. It appears that it has been re-wired for modern use. The base is bronze--a stylized bird (e.g., heron or crane)standing on the back of a turtle, which is standing on what appears to be a marsh (the bronze beneath the turtle has etched(correct word?) markings of grasses and plants marked into it). From this "marsh" there is a "stem," complete with twining leaves which rises up about 24 inches and culminates in a stained glass "lotus" flower shade. Along the base there is an artist's signature that is hard to read but looks like "M. Move," M. More," or maybe "M. Moore." I love this thing more than anything.
Does anyone have any ideas about the artist, time period, or anything? Or, where I can look?
When i have something like that i go into vintage sites, i collect vintage jewlery, you'd be suprised how you can find the exact same thing. also type in different way's of the name u think it is, like lamps made by.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have specific sites in mind? I've tried googling by every search term I can think of, but don't get much besides ebay--not what I'm looking for. The name also gives me nothing: usually just garbage like "...I'm more likely to....;" stuff like that.
