I'm new here, live in Northern Michigan. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen one of these...I believe it's sterling sliver...about 3"L. and the chain is black appears to be nylon rope type material. It's a beautiful type open filigre (sp)cross and in the center of the cross is a tiny glass that when you look @ it into the light you can read the Lords Prayer that is inserted in that tiny glass!
It's awesome! It was my grandmothers. I'm just curious if anyone has ever seen one b-4...I've looked on ebay and have never found anything like this. Not sure if I'd ever get rid of it. But, I would be curious to find someone that could give me an appraisal on it sometime..or tell me more about it.
It would only have a sentimental value (I think) even if it is sterling silver (this should be marked on the piece if it is) You could take it to a dealer near you that deals in estate type jewelry. They could give you some idea of its value and would not charge you.

I recall a friend getting a similar one back in gradeschool in the 1960's. Check the site below for sort of a similar one to it, scan down a ways and you will see it. #C-5064 cross necklace I searched google under "magnifying cross necklace with the l-ords pra-yer" (I put the dashes in or it gets hung up on trigger words).

Thanks so much...I did go and look at the link you gave...although none of them were exact...I must admit that I feel rather foolish Conrad for never thinking of doing a search!!! DAH!
Thanks Conrad.....that's why I feel so dang foolish....because my brother is always telling me....Use the "Search"...But, I guess it's hard to teach an ole' granny new tricks....LOL...well, my problem is remembering to USE them!
