Bauer Pottery was established in Paducah, KY, in 1885 (originally called Paducah Pottery). When John Bauer, the founder, died in 1898, his family continued the business by also expanding to Los Angeles in 1909, which remained open until the 1950s or 60s. They also had a factory in Atlanta, GA, making Sanitary Porcelain (Bathroom & Kitchen articles). Their famous Fiesta Ware line was produced only in California, starting in 1932.

Fiesta is Homer Laughlin and not Bauer. I'm not sure who copied who but they are very easy to tell apart.
That's what I collect! I do like Bauer though too but yet to own any items.
