This may sound lazy, but is there an easy way to identify patterns in older glassware. Depression glass has only about 70 or so major patterns, so it's not quite as difficult as Heisey, Carnival or Fostoria that had hundreds. I guess I just don't want to have to flip through large books randomly looking for glass patterns. After a while, they all start looking the same. LOL.

I haven't discovered anything other than plowing through books. Sometimes, if there's something that stands out, I might enter something in ebay's search feature to see what pops up. It rarely does. Usually I end up dragging out all my Gene Florence books.
