    I found this at my local trading post. She said it belonged to her aunt, she is in her 70's. She said it was old???????
    I LOVE it. It's a keeper......LOL! Like SO many others....... Eek

    Krisin.I think I have found another piece made by the same maker as mine....it has a sticker saying royal seal Japan. It's made VERY simular to mine. So I do not think it is some ceramic project....lol! Thanks any way

    It's some kind of figural spill vase-- which are typically either from Germany or Japan-- but usually the ones I've seen are bisque instead of porcelain as this one appears to be.

    The harlequin type feel to it makes me wonder if it was during the deco period. (Usually these have shepherds, or French colonial styled figures... so are more ornate, more art nouveau.)

    You might try looking up figural vases, "vase figure" or "spill vase" on eBay or Rubylane.com and see what you come up with.

    And if you discover something, please let us know what you learn!
