We bought this last month at a antique store in Burnet, Tx. It's really unusual, just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like it. The only marking is on the bottom of the decanter and it's a 'P' in gold paint. Not sure how to even start to try and find out who made it. Anyone have any suggestions?

This renaissance style cobalt glass is often Czech or Polish. It is commonly referred to as "Bohemian". It was made up until the 60's, for tourist/export sales so it's not always old.

Thanks Charles, still trying to find something out about it. It is beautiful though no matter what age it is.
