has anyone started?
Has anyone finished?

all handmade?
any handmade?

I always give an ornament to my family, i don't have a lot of family so, i don't have an overwhelming problem.

I have started my shopping, but not finish by any means.

I just purchased a bird book for my sister off of www.half.com great price... so i bought a couple of guitar books for my youngest too.

I don't know yet if i'm doing the Black Friday thing..last year my son and I went around 8:30 and all of the sales were still there!... no people tho...it was great, got a parking spot right up front and got everything we went for. Home by 9:30... we may do that again...

I'm trying to buy less this year. I tend to buy for my children when they mention something and give during the year. So there's not usually much any of us want or need. We're also a small family. My DH's sister and niece need money so he mails them WM's gift cards. My son and grandson are deployed and the boxes mailed seven weeks ago still haven't arrived. They think it would be silly to mail more for the holidays. So no presents to them. Guess we'll have Christmas when they return. My DD and her husband live in San Antonio and we'll go there next week. We usually do Black Friday. Last year it was surprisingly, frighteningly slow. It is so much easier to buy online and send to the house. They usually do free shipping to get the business. So I think I'll take some crochet I'd like to finish for charity blankets. Eating leftovers with a cup of cocoa sounds much more fun.
