Saw something like this for sale. Since I had the felt I decided to stitch one for myself.

Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.

Thank you, ladies, for the compliments. This is a great place to share, brag, and steal ideas. LOL I came home this evening and my grandson was eating chips and hot sauce on the tablecloth. So I moved it. I should have covered it with a clear plastic when he got here. Since it's the cheap felt it's not washable. I would like to use it again next year so it needs to stay clean now.

Thanks, EBGQ, for the compliment on the wallhanging. It holds special memories for me. Several years ago I went to a retreat with four friends I taught school with. We stayed in the dream cabin two of them built for retirement. We all made this same wallhanging and draped them across the banister for the photos of the finished projects. We were so proud of them. Sadly last summer that cabin burned down to the ground with all her quilts. They saved her pets and have insurance but with the loss of the forest and their friends they decided to move to another state.
